Joe Leeds is a licensed American Attorney based in Bangkok, Thailand and the Manager of Chaninat & Leeds. He has expertise in International and United States law with an emphasis on Property law, Corporate law as well as International Litigation. His practice specializes in real estate purchase, marriage and divorce proceedings and civil and criminal procedures. Established in Thailand in 1995 and practicing law since 1987, Joe is the most experienced US immigration lawyer in Thailand. As the Manager of a full-service US law firm in Bangkok, he has assisted a wide range of institutional and individual clients, from both Thailand and abroad.

He has lectured on International and American Legal Institutions and Legal Writing at Chulalongkorn Univeristy and Ramkhamhaeng University law faculties in Thailand.

Joe regularly contributes articles to the legal journal Thailand Law Forum, including “Considerations for International Prenuptial Agreements” and “US Visa Denials and Waivers in Thailand”. He recently supervised the translation of the complete Thailand Land Act.
